Season 2 Rumors Continue - Friendship is Magic

So the season 2 rumors continue to fly for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Equestria Daily spotted this post from doeeyed, stating,

"For My Little Pony I was Animator. next season I'll be doing posing/layout"

That's a pretty good indication that there will indeed be a next season, Season 2.

Furthermore, Equestria Daily reports that Peter New, the voice of Big McIntosh, had this to say on his Facebook Page:

Since it takes a long time to create each episode, it's assumed that any dialogue being recorded now would be for a second season. Not quite hard evidence, but definitely fuel for the rumor mill.

More convincing is this from ladymoondancer at the My Little Pony Lexicon:

"I think we all guessed or had heard rumors that season 2 was in the works, but in case anyone had any doubts . . . one of the animators, Erica Pitt, posted a comment on one of my YouTube videos saying:

"Keep your eyes peeled for season 2!!!"

Erica Pitt is listed in the credits as a Studio B animator."

While none of this falls under an official announcement, it's certainly the best evidence I've seen so far that Season 2 is in the works. Yay!
