Edmonton's Capital EX, an annual exhibition in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, will have a live My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic show on July 24-25, 2011, with shows each day at 1:00 and 3:30 PM.
"My Little Pony…stars Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash & Applejack in a live, interactive, musical adventure. Twilight Sparkle is a light violet unicorn pony with an indigo mane and tail and pink and purple streaks, in the pursuit of knowledge. Applejack is an orange earth pony, with a blonde mane and tail, very dependable and down-to-earth, but also has a stubborn side. Rainbow Dash, a sky blue pegasus pony, with a multicolored mane and tail, very brave and bold, but also mischievous and proud."The show is included in regular admission. USA Today made the official report: the "Mystery Exclusive Pony" leaked earlier this month is the San Diego Comic Con pony.
Which just leaves the question of who is the mystery pony leaked in May? MLP Fair is likely, but we'll have to wait for the Fair to be sure.

Here are a couple of international pony ads, via Equestria Daily. The first is a Latin American Playful Ponies Toy Ad.
The second is the UK trailer for the TV series. Interestingly it says the series will begin on the 4th of July, 2011, on Boomerang, contradicting the earlier report of an end of July launch on Cartoon Network. The show will air at 3:00pm.
Here's the German opening for My Little Pony: Freundschaft ist Magie, via Hasbro.
Finally, this video shows Playful Ponies of the Mane 6 characters, plus some of the ponyville singles, available in Lima, Peru.

Since the advent of the new My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic series from Hasbro, many communities have popped up in support of the wonderful themes and messages from the show. The spirit of the show promotes harmony, friendship, and many aspects of it that brings so many people around the world together around a common theme and it is in this spirit that one community has been created with the intent of bringing us all together to expand in the wonderful universe that Hasbro has given us.
Thus, http://canterlot.com was born! This community is designed to promote and share the concepts of the Elements of Harmony given to us by the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic show! In this community, we share artwork, fanfics, music and more! If you have artwork, music, stories and poems, news and articles, personal achievements, we'd like to see it in our community. Our Forum welcomes ponies of all shapes and sizes and ages as well, and our staff works diligently to ensure that the community promotes tolerance and acceptance within it.
We also have a very large and flexible Roleplay Section where you can bring your own characters to romp and play within the Magical Land of Equestria! We're always adding new features and we take suggestions for expansion within the world beyond what is merely shown in the show. In addition to playing ponies, we also allow other species from Greek and Heraldic (Medieval) influences, as well as other mythological creatures we feel fit within the Equestrian Universe. If you have a new species you would like to see, we would like to hear about it! We're always looking for more new ponies and we hope to see you there!

I work in target as an overnight flow team member, and always on the look out for new pony merch. Dunno if anyone reported this one yet [Editor's note: nope, haven't seen it yet] but i found a twlight sparkle b-day card. The inside pops out at the top with the rest of the gang on it.

"In this swap, you will take your partner's persona and make a real live custom for them. This swap will run for a full two months during the summer so that if anyone that is going to the fair in a few weeks will be able to go and not worry about if their custom will be done on time. This is also a secret swap, so partners should be kept secret until they receive their custom."A persona is the pony version of a person. Deadline for sign-ups is June 26, 2011. New G4 Pony Coloring Book

Another G4 Pony Coloring Book has been showing up on Ebay recently. No idea where you can actually buy it though, but my best guess would be Target in the dollar section. Hopefully someone can confirm this? [Editor's note: it might also be from the new Fun Case - can anyone confirm?]

"For most of us the holidays are coming up quite soon so who would be interested in taking part in a swap themed around this year’s vacation? A kids t-shirt featuring G1 Glory was found at Kohl's by Eternia at the MLP Arena. The shirt retails for $20, but may be on sale for $14. It is unfortunately not available at all Kohl's stores.

Two new 'baby' moderators at the MLP Arena have teamed up to do a custom pony swap, the Baby Mod Birthday Baby Swap. Participants will customize a baby pony themed to their partner's birthday, "either your birth month, birthstone, birth-flower, or Zodiac (Eastern or Western)." Deadline for sign-ups is July 1, 2011. Hasbro issued a press release from the International Licensing Expo, listing several new pony products:
- "MY LITTLE PONY bedding from Crown Craft (agreement reached in principle, subject to the parties entering into a binding contract)"
- "MY LITTLE PONY t-shirts from Carel"
- "MY LITTLE PONY Havaianas flip flops from Sao Paolo Alpargatas"
- "MY LITTLE PONY toothpaste from Church & Dwight Co." (this is the only item that has been released to my knowledge)
- "MY LITTLE PONY towels from Franco Manufacturing"
- "MY LITTLE PONY ride-on"

Royal Ball at Canterlot Castle Playset, another leak from Taobao. This playset has the mane cast (Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Rarity) plus Spike, with fabric clothes. (I gotta say I love the fabric clothes - most of the G3 clothes were molded plastic. This hearkens back to the G1 ponywear, which I loved as a kid). This set is part of the Canterlot Only at Target line. Release date is unknown.

"Hasbro has extended the licensing agreement for at least three novelty t-shirt companies (80stees.com, Mighty Fine, and Hot Topic) to make designs based off FiM ponies in addition to their preexisting G1 line.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
...these [images above] are just the first rounds of comprehensive layouts. They are not necessarily representations of the final product. Unfortunately, there's no ETA on when these will be available."
