This cute bed set can be found at Walmart. I'm not sure if it can be found in-store, but it can be purchased online for $39.99.

Celebration at Canterlot DVD.

Target's gotten an exclusive line of merch called 'Canterlot' that officailly launched today, though several Targets did break the street date. I went to my local Target this morning, and saw them setting it up, w00t! I snagged a fleece blanket (which is awesome), and the Celebration at Canterlot DVD.

It has the episodes 'The Ticket Master', and 'Suited for Success', which are the two episodes that lead up to the Mane Six going to the Grand Galloping Gala in Canterlot. They're in standard definition widescreen. Unfortunately, there aren't any extras. Just the two episodes. It's $10, and can be found in Target's Canterlot displays.

Finnish Friendship is Magic Comic/Magazine

Ah yes. Look at those beautiful glitter highlights. Hm. Anywho, this comic was found at S-Market in Kankaanpää, Finland. The following was translated by Twilight Otaku:

The text above Fluttershy translates to "adorable ponies on a ****outing/picnic/trip". The **** is a word to which I cannot think of an English counterpart with the same meaning 9_6. It means something along the lines of something you do quite leisurely, a bit like a lazy hobby to which you don't dedicate so much time/work to (in any case, it sounds stupid). The other text says "comes with fine/great stickers!".

Mystery song from singing Twilight plushie figured out!

Thanks to some investigative journalism over at Equestria Daily, the third song that the Twilight Sparkle Animated Storyteller sings has been figured out! It plays the intro theme, Winter Wrap-Up, and a third, unknown song. If just want to hear the third song, skip to about 1:55 in;



An inquisitive fan on Facebook asked Daniel Ingram, the composer for Friendship in Magic, what the third song was, and he was kind enough to answer (click the picture to see a bigger version).



Makes me wonder how many songs were recorded that we didn't hear!

I recently made a post about a Brony t-shirt featuring Rainbow Dash that was seen at the Hasbro booth during SDCC. Turns out that you can purchase this shirt online from the designer, OffWorld Designs.

Lately, I've been seeing this Twilight Sparkle sketch showing up on my Tumblr feed. I'd see it, and think 'Dang! That is really good, like, professionally good'. There's a reason it looks professionally good, it's drawn by Sibsy over at DeviantArt, who happens to be an animator working on the show.

In the description of the drawing she wrote "Wrapping up work on the last episode of season 2 of MLP....this episode never seems to end!"

Woo-hoo! This means season two is closer! As soon as an airing schedule is released, I'll let you all know.

Twilight Sparkle Plush, Shine Bright Luna + a look at the Canterlot display

You can purchase this cute plush of Twilight Sparkle, one of the stars of the Target Canterlot program, for $20.00. She appears to be standing next to a comforter set, so she must be pretty big! This is the second plush of Twilight, the first being a Toys'R'Us exclusive.

The Canterlot Castle features a Shine Bright Princess Luna figure. Also included in the set are Pinkie Pie and Spike figures, accessories, mouse pet, what appears to me to be an altered version of Rarity's Royal Gem Carriage, and a two-story cardboard castle. The castle is decorated with images of the Friendship is Magic cast... although it appears to be missing Applejack. :( Retails at $40.00.

E the Pony, of the amazing pony embroidery blog, is looking for a pony persona/avatar. The winning designer, plus one other randomly chosen winner, gets embroidered pony merchandise. Enter on ponychan by July 31, 2011 at 2:00 PM CST. (Via Equestria Daily).

There's a Pony Dice Bag Giveaway on ponychan as well. Enter by sharing your best role playing game moment. Deadline is July 31, 2011. (Also via Equestria Daily).

Finally, carlabarla at the MLP Arena is hosting a Custom Pony Contest. Submit a design for a custom pony, and one lucky winner will have that pony made into a custom toy. Contest runs until the "start of August".

An advent calendar has been found on Amazon.de thanks to this post on My Little Pony Arena. It appears to contain Ponyville/"blind bag" figures and features some unique artwork (at least to me!) of the FiM main cast, the Cutie Mark Crusaders and Cheerilee! Very cute! Sells for EUR 11,25.
