New G4 Plush - Pinkie, Twilight, Rainbow Dash

Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, and Rainbow Dash have received new plush toys, produced by a company called Funrise Toy Corp. These plush have already been found in some Target stores, but have an official release date of July 29, 2012. They're about 6" tall.

G4 Wedding Castle Prototypes

Not news, but very cool to see what goes into making a My Little Pony! Hasbro brought these prototype boards to the 2012 My Little Pony Fair detailing the planning behind the wedding castle. Thank you Rhini on MLP Arena for the pictures!

Derpy/Ditzy for sale on Hasbro Toy Shop

Derpy/Ditzy is up for sale on hasbrotoyshop.com! The site has been running very slowly all morning, so try to have some patience when navigating the page. Everyone and their mother wants to get their hands on this grey pegasus, it seems.

FYI, Hasbro Toy Shop ships to the United States (including Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands) and Canada.

Pre-order Comic-Con Zecora from Toys R Us

Zecora is up for pre-order on Toys R Us' website for $9.99 plus shipping. She is limited to one per customer. Toys R Us estimates they will start shipping her out on August 15, 2012.

You can check out Toys R Us' entire Comic-Con section here, which includes toys from Lord of the Rings, Marvel, Cartoon Network, and more.

I know I am going to be asked, so here's the lowdown on Derpy:
According to the USA Today article on her, she will not be sold online until after SDCC is over. When she is, we will be available on hasbrotoyshop.com for $19.99 plus shipping. Unlike limited edition ponies in the past, she will NOT be sold in the My Little Pony Fair webshop. You can also try your hand at snagging her on eBay!

I will make a post as soon as she becomes available in Hasbro's shop. Keep in mind that supplies will be limited!

More SDCC News - Two S3 teaser trailers + FiM comics

Embedded above is another debut song from season three starring all of the ponies. The song is about the Crystal Fair and the Mane 6's quest to save the crystal ponies. Princess Cadance is also given a mention so it looks like we will be seeing a return from her, hooray! It's nice to know she won't fade into obscurity.

The Crystal Empire line of toys that have been mentioned a few times around here now seem to have a connection to the show.

In other news, IDW Publishing and Hasbro have announced their upcoming partnership in releasing a line of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comics, slated to begin in November of this year. The comics will be written by Katie Cook and illustrated by Andy Price.

According to the press release by Hasbro and IDW, “fans of the animated series will be excited to hear that the comics will stay true to its moral foundation, while providing themes and subject matter that older audiences can also appreciate.” The comics will follow brand new story lines and lessons on friendship.

Friendship is Magic Season 3 news from SDCC pony panel

Equestria Daily has also confirmed the following season three news:

• A possible duet between Rarity and a pony fan-dubbed Octavia (more information on her here, for those not familiar).
• Fluttershy as a dragon!
• The return of The Great and Powerful Trixie!

Very exciting stuff. We'll keep you updated as more news pours in. Really wish I could have been there to see this firsthand. 

8-Bit Adventure Ponies game at Hubworld.com

Adventure Ponies is a new My Little Pony game from The Hub! The game was launched at Comic-Con and currently requires a promotional code to play. Use the code HUBMLP8BIT to get in and have fun!

You start the game as Twilight Sparkle and traverse through six levels filled with dangerous spikes and fire-breathing dragons. All of the Mane 6 are available to play as, but you must first unlock each successive pony by completing all six levels as the previous pony. I haven't played much of it yet, but it's a cute game with a charming old school feel. If you have time you should definitely give it a whirl!

Comic-Con Pony Exclusive #2 - Zecora

This is late news now, but the glow-in-the-dark Zecora the zebra figure we saw at this year's Toy Fair accompanies Derpy Hooves as a Comic-Con exclusive pony, available at the Toys R Us booth (2343).

Judging by the Toy Fair photos, she appears to be standard Playful Pony size, not Fashion Style size like Derpy, but is show accurate and very cute!
