Preview of upcoming My Little Pony iPad game

Embedded above is a preview for an upcoming My Little Pony iPad game from Gameloft. No official release date has been set, but the description says that the game will be coming "later this year." It seems to me to be similar to standard city-building sims. You will have the ability to purchase new pony neighbors as well as shops to move into Ponyville. There will also be opportunities to expand and beautify the town with plants and other decorations. In the video we can see Lyra Heartstrings and Rarity move into town (via balloon!), the construction of a hat store, and an apple-collecting mini game.

Season 3 news from NYCC!

November is only a few short weeks away! I found this video on Tumblr taken today at New York Comic Con which shows a short clip from the upcoming Crystal Empire episode. It hasn't been uploaded to Youtube yet from what I can tell. When it is, I will update this post with an embedded video.
Equestria Daily and PictishBeast at Ponygoons have also leaked some S3 info from the NYCC panel:

- An official soundtrack has been strongly hinted at.
- Both songs presented at the SDCC panel are from the first episode of the new season.
- There is a new villain who goes by the name of King Somber. You can find more info on him here, but beware of spoilers!
- Discord may be returning, and we may be in for another visit to Manehattan.
- More background on Princess Celestia and Princess Luna!
- A possible (very speculated) trip to the Griffon Kingdom.

My Little Pony Vinyl Collectibles

A Rainbow Dash vinyl collectible recently turned up on eBay. It was labeled a prototype, but appeared in-box. Her mane colors are a bit off, otherwise she looks to be well-made. A blank vinyl pony prototype also showed up on an online store called Gemini Collectibles, produced by Funko.
Not much more is known, but fingers crossed that these are legitimate!
