Possible Leak of San Diego Comic Con or MLP Fair Pony

This pony showed up in a Singapore department store, and was spotted by singpony at the MLP Arena.

"I think she could be the 2011 [San Diego] Comic Con pony. Singapore's dept stores received the SDCC 2010 pony around this time last year too."

There is also some speculation that she could be a leak of the MLP Fair pony.

(I'm more inclined to go with the Comic Con theory. The packaging is more similar to last year's SDCC pony. And she just looks like a SDCC pony to me. The argument that she does not have a comic theme is a good point, but last year's pony was a graffiti pony, so not exactly comic themed either.)

Of course, she might be neither. Perhaps Hasbro is revamping their Art Pony line, or perhaps an exclusive pony has been commissioned for another event.

This does, however, confirm Hasbro's intention to retain the G3 pose previously used for the Fair, Comic Con, and Art Ponies, which some collectors suspected might be discontinued with the advent of the G4 line.

[Edit June 16, 2011: She was apparently listed on HK Ebay as Comic Con 2011, according to BittieBaby at the MLPTP. Of course, the seller might have been speculating.]
