In season one we got a healthy dose of Applejack and her extended family, as well we got a peak at the Pie family, and the Sparkles, however the rest of the Mane Six's family has been a mystery. Someone on Deviant Art has asked Lauren Faust if there will be more pony families in season two, and she was kind enough to respond!

I don't know if this means we'll be seeing Dash or Fluttershy's parents, but I certainly hope it does! I think it'd be really cool to see what Dash's family is like, as well as Fluttershy's. I bet her parents play rugby or the pony equivalent of rugby, and she's the black sheep of the family.
